To generate documents from forms created in CF7 and ActiveMerge please do the following.
This plugin is still in Beta – if you get errors please contact us.
- Create an ActiveMerge account and generate an API key.
- Add your template with the {placeholders} for mail merge and copy the template ID.
- Download and Install the CF7 ActiveMerge plugin.
- Setup the API key in the CF7 ActiveMerge settings.
- Go to your CF7 form and enable Document Generation.
The selected fields must match your placeholders template in ActiveMerge. If the fields don’t match the document generation will fail.
6. Test the integration with sample data. If everything is ok you will receive an email with the document link, depending on your settings.
