1. What is ActiveMerge used for?

Our app allows you to automate the generation of  documents such as contracts, letters, agreements, certificates, and more. Simply upload a data file(Excel, Json) with your information and a template in DOCX (Word) or PPTX(PowerPoint) format, and our system will generate documents for you.

2. What file formats can I upload?

You can upload source data files in Excel XLSX/CSV/Json format. Templates must be in DOCX (Word)  or PPTX (PowerPoint) format with {placeholders}.

You can also upload via our web app an image or PDF and our AI OCR tool will extract data from the file and you can add it to the placeholders.

How are credits used?

To generate a document 2 credits are used.

For sending a document via email 1 credit is used.

Do unused credits roll-over the next month?

No, they don’t, your account is reset and credits replenished when the subscription renews. 

3. How do I set up a template?

Templates should include placeholders for data in the format {placeholder}. These placeholders will be replaced with actual data from your uploaded Excel file.

4. In what formats can I export the generated documents?

You can export documents in DOCX, PPTX, or PDF formats.

5. Can I preview my documents before downloading?

Yes, you can preview the first generated document for free before processing the full batch.

7. How do I pay for additional documents?

We support payments via Stripe and PayPal.

8. How will I receive my documents?

Once your documents are generated, you can download the documents. You can also receive them via email.

Please download right away as we delete the files after 24 hours. 

9. Is my data secure?

Yes! We take security seriously and ensure your uploaded files and generated documents are securely processed and deleted after 24 hours.

10. Can I use this app for bulk document generation?

Yes, our app is designed to handle bulk document generation efficiently. 

11. Do you offer refunds?

Since the service is digital and automated, refunds are not available once documents are generated.

However, if you encounter issues, please contact our support team available 24/7.
