Workflows

One of our leading features is the Workflows. A workflow helps users to generate multiple types of documents with a single source of data. 

Similar tools to ActiveMerge can generate a single type of template at a time, with ActiveMerge Workflows you can generate even 10 types of documents with a single data source.

You can generate at the same time:

  • contracts
  • letters
  • invitations
  • invoices
  • certificates
  • reports and more.

Currently you can generate PDFs, Word (Docx), and PowerPoint (Pptx) documents.

ActiveMerge Workflows

Add a Data Source (Optional)

Add your data in Excel format as XLSX or XLS. The headers will act as placeholders in the template. You can save a Workflow without data to use with the API

Select Templates

Select the templates you saved before to use in this Workflow.

Preview and Generate

To test if the everything is ok you can always preview the first file free. If all the details are ok you can now generate the documents in bulk.

Enable Form (Optional)

For both templates and workflows we can enable forms that we can fill and generate documents. When filling the form ActiveMerge will generate all the documents in the Workflow with the data from the form.
