Let an AI agent generate documents as part of a workflow

Use ActiveMerge MCP when an AI agent needs to create a document after completing another task: qualifying a lead, preparing a proposal, summarizing a call, completing onboarding, or responding to a support request.

The agent can inspect the required fields, prepare the exact document request, and return the ActiveMerge approval link. The account owner approves before credits are used and the document is generated.

Certificates generate like any other document. The client reads the certificate template fields, prepares the request, and returns an approval link to confirm before the PDF is created.

Merge documents into one file

ActiveMerge document merge joins several PDFs or documents into one file. The client prepares the merge request and returns an approval link, so you confirm before the merged document is created.

Discover template fields

Ask“What fields does my Employment Offer template require?”

Use this before generation to collect the recipient, date, amount, line items, or other required values.

Check a document job

Ask“Check the status of my generated proposal.”

The client can retrieve the status of a known generation job and its download URL when complete.

Create an AI-generated template

Ask“Create a DOCX project proposal template with client details, scope, timeline, and pricing.”

Confirm the template name, description, and DOCX or PPTX format first. Creating the AI draft costs five credits. Download and inspect the draft at the ActiveMerge approval link, then save it as a new template. Existing templates are never edited.

Security

OAuth connects the MCP client to the ActiveMerge account you authorize.
Document generation requires one-time approval for the exact request.
AI template creation requires approval before a new template is saved.
Zapier remains on its API-key integration.
